Yeg, your English teacher

Meet Yeg

Hello! my name is Yeganeh, but everyone calls me Yeg. I specialise in working with learners from kindergarten, primary and secondary school. My lessons are interactive, visual and full of movement so pupils stay focused and have fun. I teach both online and in person, using phonics, stories, games, crafts and songs to help learners build vocabulary, pronunciation and real confidence when they speak.

  • 🎲
    Game-based learning
We use games and interactive activities so children forget they are “studying” and simply enjoy English.
  • 📚
    Storytelling & role-play
Storybooks, puppets and role-play bring new vocabulary to life and help it stick.
  • 🎵
    Songs & chants
Rhymes, chants and songs make pronunciation and rhythm feel natural and fun.
  • 💬
    Real speaking practice
Every lesson includes friendly speaking practice, so even shy learners find their voice.

Every lesson is adapted to age, level and personality, so learners enjoy English rather than being afraid of it – whether we meet online or in person.

Here I walk you through some of my sessions with learners: from phonics flashcards and spelling games to creating personalised English notebooks and reading cosy storybooks together. Homework time becomes a calm, creative moment rather than a battle, and children start to feel proud of what they can do in English.

How My Teaching Journey Started

I graduated from Politecnico di Milano in 2024 in an engineering field. During my studies I had the chance to work closely with many children to boost their skills, and I realised how much I enjoyed sharing my knowledge and watching them grow.

To deepen this passion, I began my career at BusyBee Kindergarten as an educator. Later on, I led summer camp programmes in schools and then worked at St. Louis School.

Thanks to all these experiences, I now feel confident bringing what I have learnt into my private lessons. It genuinely makes me happy to see children growing alongside me. I am continuing to teach English and I can’t wait to start lessons with your wonderful kids and support older students as well.

How lessons work

My teaching style

  • 🎮
    Play-based learning
We use games and interactive activities so learners forget they are “studying” and simply enjoy English, whether we are online or sitting together at a table. Phonics flashcards are a fantastic way to practise spelling and sound out new words.
  • 📖
    Stories & characters
Storybooks, puppets and role-play help children understand vocabulary in context and remember it for longer. We often work with well-loved series such as Oxford Reading Tree so pupils can follow engaging stories as their reading develops.
  • 🗣️
    Lots of speaking
Every lesson includes safe, friendly speaking practice, so even shy students learn to answer questions, ask their own and hold short conversations with confidence.
  • 📝
    Connection with school
I actively support what your child is doing in school. I help with homework and prepare students for simple tests or assessments when required, so they feel ready and calm in the classroom.
